The Alixares Hotel is located in the Alhambra Reserve, the city’s great treasure alongside the Generalife gardens, two of the most emblematic places in Granada and the subject of millions of visits every year.
In this wonderful city, you can also find the mausoleum of the Catholic Monarchs alongside their children and the Royal Chapel, dating back to the early 16th century, which is connected to the Cathedral.
You must also visit the Albaicín or Albaizyn, a neighborhood declared a UNESCO World Heritage site for its colors, charm, and beautiful corners.
An interesting point is the Alcaicería, the old Arab souk and the current commercial area of Granada. You can find small shops along its streets where you can buy typical crafts from the city, such as Fajalauza pottery.
