“Stage Presence”
“The piano and my Future”
These two workshops are, in our view, an essential complement to offer a complete education to our young talents. In both, the teachers will speak to both the students and their families about aspects that are rarely taught in the academic life of a school or conservatory, but are nonetheless of great importance.
Families, you cannot miss this! We require your participation as you are a fundamental pillar in the education of your children.
The workshop-conference “The Piano and My Future” is specially dedicated to you to address any doubts and concerns that often arise.

This workshop will be very fun and extremely helpful for the students. It is of great importance for young artists to learn how to “be” in front of an audience in a proper way, showing confidence, calmness, correctness, and elegance in their gestures, as well as being communicative. The pianist connects with the listener through their music, but also through their body language, so we should not overlook this.
We will work on aspects present in the concert experience, such as greeting the audience, how to sit properly, attitude in front of the public, what to do when we make a mistake while performing, etc. We will also discuss body-mind preparation before going on stage using Alexander Technique, stretching, breathing exercises, mindfulness, and visualization.

What is better for my child, a conservatory, an academy, or private lessons? What is the purpose of the conservatory diploma in its different levels? What career opportunities are there in music, and specifically, in piano?
This workshop-conference aims to inform and shed light on these doubts that often concern students and their families. As in any other field, professional guidance on which path to take is essential for understanding where we stand. This way, we can make the most informed decisions to build our future.
We will discuss, among other things, what is needed to become a pianist, the importance of the first lessons, diplomas, career paths in piano, differences between university degrees and higher-level degrees, public competitions, and auditions.
Interpretation
On the exciting journey of learning, we all need the image of great masters to admire. It is through this that motivation is born and renewed, taking them as examples to follow and learning from their teachings.
We invite you to the Interpretation workshop with pianists Philippe Raskin and Leonel Morales.
All students enrolled in the Piano Youth Experience will participate in this special workshop, putting to the test everything they have learned and receiving advice from these two prominent figures in the world of piano.
